what is PBIS?
what are virtue lessons?
virtue lessons are presentations made and developed by the students in PBIS. They compile a list of virtues for the school year and then assign a month for each virtue chosen. the students then find or create video clips, research quotes, and put together a presentation on google docs which is then shown to the student body. they also send and discuss these presentations with elementary and middle schools to increase the amount of positive behavior that is spread.
how do you become a member of PBIS?
to become a member of PBIS, students are often recommended by fellow teachers and students who are already apart of PBIS. They are then chosen by the heads of PBIS and asked to join. students that are asked to join are usually bright students, who set an example of positive behavior on a daily basis.
